We thought we were unlucky when, in our first
year of alpaca breeding, 17 of our first 21 cria were male. As it turns
out, though, it was all for the best. Since we'd purchased top quality
girls, already pregnant to elite suri males, we ended up with a number of
really lovely suri males that are now being used at stud. The males we
retained suit a
range of budgets and are easily accessible for drive through matings.
We offer a live cria guarantee with all of our matings and
have a range of discounts for multiple matings, repeat matings following
the birth of a male cria, and up-front payment of mating fees. Please
contact us to discuss your requirements or for more information about our males. |

It
took us three years to produce a coloured suri male good enough to keep,
but Mahogany is developing well and even our shearer commented on his
beautiful fine, glossy fleece. He's a magnificent colour and a true suri
type, the progeny of two rare grey suri parents, so who knows what he
might produce. He's just been certified and is starting to work.
