We've
spent many years building up a strong herd of suri alpacas, using
the best genetics available. We now offer them for sale either
individually or in packages, only because our overseas work
commitments continue to grow, making it impossible for us to retain
them. While some of our alpacas will attract those with tight
budgets, many are of the highest quality and will suit those wanting
to upgrade an existing herd or start a new herd with top quality
foundation stock. All reasonable offers will be considered. Our goal
is to be alpaca-free next time Pauleen boards a plane for the USA, in
September, 2009.
Because Pauleen has been out of
the country so much in the past few years, our paperwork is out of
date. The herd is not assessed for BJD and we are not part of
Q-alpaca or AGE. We do not have recent fleece statistics and we
haven't been near a show ring for several years. What we do have are
terrific quality alpacas that are well maintained and cared for (Ron
is good at caring for alpacas but terrible at paperwork).
Most have been born on our property and have never left or been in
contact with other animals. All are registered with AAA and most
also with AABA. We vaccinate twice annually and regularly supplement
diets with essential minerals and other nutrients. All younger stock
are halter trained and calm to handle. In the next few weeks we'll
add details of individual animals to this website. It's going to
