Our property at Fulham, between Sale and Rosedale, was set up in the 1980's as a horse and dog training establishment. We initially planned to use the stable and shedding for our alpacas and goats and the dog kennels for our own dogs, but soon found out that there is a shortage of boarding kennels in our area, with locals keen to find somewhere safe to leave their dogs when they travel to Melbourne past our front gate, and Melbournites equally keen to find somewhere for their dogs to stay that isn't too far from the favorite holiday locations associated with the Gippsland lakes. We've just started converting our existing kennels and runs into a small boarding facility and hope to be open early in 2007. If the kennels are successful we plan to add more kennels and a cattery in the coming months. For now our capacity is very limited, so your best doggie mate will get plenty of individual attention while he or she enjoys the country air.
